  • Describe the epidemiology of firearm and violent injuries and deaths in the U.S.
  • Outline a consensus-based medical-public health approach to decrease firearm and violent deaths in the U.S.
  • Summarize resources available to healthcare professionals to prevent firearm injuries and deaths with special attention to our primary care populations.
