The Installation Dinner is right around the corner!
Greetings from CCMS! The 64th Annual Installation Dinner is rapidly approaching and if you haven’t reserved your spot yet, don’t delay. The evening is set to be a celebration of our organization and the people and collaborators who help to make this valley a healthy, vibrant community.
Join us as we honor incoming President Jeffrey Roth, M.D alongside The Children’s Heart Center and The Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health who will both be presented with this year’s Presidents Awards. Celebrate the winners of the Winged Heart Awards, which will recognize an outstanding nurse, health-related non-profit, and for the first time a first responder. There will also be a special tribute to the heroes of October 1, and recognition of how our community came together like never before to save lives, support one another and to heal. There used to be a joke that in Vegas you went McCarran for healthcare and the performance and results achieved by you, by our physicians and their teams on that evening put that old, bad joke to rest. This is the evening of the year when we come together and stand together acknowledging the success of your peers.
By now, you have received your ballot for the 2018-2019 Board of Trustees and proposed bylaw changes; please take a moment, vote and return. This is one way for your voice to be heard. There are lots of other opportunities for you to become engaged with CCMS and we hope you will take the lead and join a committee- we need your time, talent and treasure to ensure CCMS achieves greatness.
Over the past few weeks and months, our community is truly evolved. Gone is the sense that we are all from somewhere else and that we just “live” in Vegas. It has been amazing to see how our city has come together in light of October 1 and to celebrate and cheer on our beloved Vegas Golden Knights.
Our gala will be the night CCMS will shine and will celebrate you. Yes, you. This evening is not just about the award winners, it is about the docs who everyday go to work in less than ideal scenarios and continuously work hard to make us whole. It is a night on which medical students, residents, physicians and our community can come together and acknowledge our doctors’ commitment and passion to providing the best quality health care for our community.
