A Healthier Clark County.

Established in 1955, the Clark County Medical Society is a professional organization of nearly 2,000 doctors, medical residents, physician's assistants and medical students. The organization advocates for physicians and their patients in Southern Nevada, encouraging the delivery of quality health care within the community.

The Clark County Medical Society is ultimately striving:

To serve the needs of physicians, their patients and the Clark County community with responsibility and integrity.

We hope to create a healthier community for our friends and families, for our colleagues and neighbors. A place that recognizes and supports the efforts of our health care professionals, and stands beside them in times of peace and in times of crisis.

We face a critical shortage of doctors here in Southern Nevada, there is no dancing around that fact. While the nation as a whole seeks to solve the disparity between a historically low number of doctors, and an increasing high number of patients, Las Vegas in particular works to make our beautiful city a welcoming place to practice medicine.

The Clark County Medical Society is at the forefront of those efforts. We work alongside incredibly talented and dedicated physicians to not only attract practicing doctors from all over the United States to our valley, but to create educational programs that will raise the next generation of medical professionals right here in Clark County.

Membership, community, advocacy, and education -- we are here to serve physicians and their patients, for a healthier Clark County.
