Recognizing Outstanding Service.

At the Clark County Medical Society, we feel the need to recognize the important contributions that medical professionals make to keep our community healthy. Established in 2013 by former CCMS President Dr. George Alexander, the award has three categories: nurses, health-related non-profit organizations, and now first responders.

Nursing nominees must be currently affiliated with a local practice or hospital, and must be providing a necessary service to patients on an inpatient or outpatient basis. Non-profit nominees must be a registered 501(c)3 whose mission is to provide outstanding medical/health care or to promote wellness within Clark County. Nominees for the first responders category must be currently employed in Clark County as a paramedic, emergency medical technician, police officer, firefighter, or rescuer.

Honoring First Responders.

 

This year, for the first time, the Winged Heart Awards will accepting nominations for a First Responders award.

In light of the tragic events of October 1, 2017, now more than ever our community must band together to recognize the heroism of our first responders here in Clark County. Nominees for the first responders category must be currently employed in Clark County as a paramedic, emergency medical technician, police officer, firefighter, or rescuer.
